Biography

claes iversen

Claes Iversen, a designer of contrasts and duality

Claes Iversen, the person as well as the designer, is a man of all sorts, of contrasts, of duality. He is passionate about authenticity, purity and natural quality, about the earthy feel of materials that are true and honest. At the same time he is also attracted to unorthodox applications, innovative combinations and new, unconventional use of materials.

He is an absolute perfectionist, dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence to the last stitch. Along his Couture collections, Claes Iversen also presents a Ready To Wear line, which he launched in July 2014.

The collection consists of a modern, versatile and contemporary wardrobe for any occasion. The label’s signature styles feature a feminine silhouette, luxurious use of materials and colour as well as a strong focus on tailoring, resulting in high standards of fit and cut throughout the whole collection.
